Strifor Broker Forex Account Types: Basic, Advanced, Professional and Islamic Compared

The account type decides how much a trader pays per trade, how much leverage is available and how much capital is needed to start. This guide walks through the four live accounts using the conditions published on the official website in October 2026.

How account tiers work at Strifor

The line-up includes four live accounts and a demo account. Every live tier runs in the same MetaTrader 5 terminal and gives access to the same set of markets.

The tiers differ in three parameters:

•       minimum deposit;

•       commission per lot and starting spread;

•       maximum leverage.

The demo account opens without funding. It is meant for learning the MT5 interface and testing a strategy without risking real money.

Comparing the trading tiers

Basic

The entry tier has no minimum deposit. Its commission is higher than on Advanced or Professional, but a trader can start with any amount and use leverage of up to 1:500.

Advanced

This tier requires at least $10,000. The commission drops by one dollar per lot, spreads start from zero and separate rates apply to commodities and shares.

Professional

The threshold is $40,000. Forex and metals cost $6 per lot, and rates on other assets are the lowest in the range. Maximum leverage, however, is capped at 1:200.

Islamic

This is a swap-free account for clients who cannot pay or receive overnight interest for religious reasons. The trade-off is a higher commission of $13 per lot on forex and metals.

Loyalty program for Advanced and Professional

Holders of Advanced and Professional accounts at Strifor broker website can apply for a loyalty program. It accrues up to 1.5% per month on free margin, but the accruals carry bonus status. They become withdrawable only after a trading volume of $2,000,000, and participation ends after 60 days without trades.

Matching a tier to a trading style

The right choice depends on capital and trading frequency. A few reference points:

•       with a small deposit only Basic is available, so the commission gap matters more as volume grows;

•       a scalper with many trades per day is usually more sensitive to the per-lot commission than to leverage;

•       a position trader who holds trades for weeks may look at the Islamic account to avoid swaps;

•       on Professional, the 1:200 cap means higher margin per position than on the other tiers.

Whatever the tier, the company's risk disclosure recommends risking no more than 2% of capital per trade.
